6" to 4" Recessed Lighting Conversion Kit

Looking to upgrade your dated 6-inch downlighting with minimal construction work? LUSA has got you covered. Like our 4" Retrofit Kit, there is no need to create any new openings in your ceiling. With the use of the Conversion Mud-in Plate, you can now convert any existing 6-inch recessed can to a 4-inch LUSA fixture. The mud-in plate easily screws into your drywall ceiling and acts as a base to apply drywall compound. With a little sanding, you now have an upgraded fixture in a modernized smaller aperture allowing you to upgrade your light source to the quality of LUSA lighting products.

This recessed lighting conversion kit delivers exceptional performance, design, and quality with only minimal repairs. With multiple trim styles, colors and adapter choices, this conversion kit makes a big impact with little effort.

    So easy!

    I was looking for a way to update my lighting without a huge renovation, and this kit did the trick! It was easy to install and gave my space a cleaner look. I’m really happy with how it turned out!

    My husband and I did it. No help.

    I really thought we were going to need help, but it actually wasn't that hard. Nice LEDs absolutely look better than 6" bulbs in my ceiling. =)

    Amazing

    I initially bought a few to test and be sure it would really do what i saw online. They worked perfectly. I am now changing the every 6” can out to these. They dramatically have changed the look to a current home. So happy to be rid of the old 6” cans and have a contemporary look in my home that was built in 1928!

    Highly recommend.

    Great Sollution

    We are remodeling a home and upgraded the new lights to 4" in half the house. The problem was the existing house had a bunch of 6" cans in areas where we did not remove the drywall. We wanted a clean consistent finish throughout the house. But how could we affordably install 4" lights. A coworker recommended LUSA. We installed them in a couple of hours and our drywall finishers floated the ceilings smooth.
